Highway integrated lightning protection integration solutions
Release time:2019-01-16

We provide complete lightning protection systems for traffic facilities across thunderstorms such as highways, bridges, toll stations, and substations.

The lightning protection system is designed based on the new IEC62305-3 and IEC62305-4:210, and takes into account the lightning protection standards of the international and transportation industries such as GB50057-2010. The external lightning protection system adopts the “zero welding” connection process technology, and the selected lightning protection system connection components and materials have passed the IEC62561/EN50164 test.

Flash system

The concrete level of the traffic command center, toll station, and staff quarters is based on the grid. The size of the grid is determined according to the lightning protection registration of the protected building (IEC62305-2 risk assessment or GB50057 classification of lightning protection buildings requirements). In order not to damage the structure and waterproof performance of the concrete layer, the flashing grid uses movable, non-slip, weather resistant, UV-stabilized and halogen-free support.
The base is reinforced, and the side of the flashing belt on the daughter's wall is fixed by a support member with pre-installed bolts.

Downline

The externally applied down conductor is connected to the grounding system along the shortest distance of the wall, and is directly fixed to the wall by a support with a preloaded bolt. Considering the risk of the human body being exposed to overvoltage, the down conductor uses CUI wire in the area about 3 meters above the ground. The upper end is connected to the common down
